Declarations

I have read the privacy information below about how MCR Pathways uses my information for this application.

Right to Work in the UK

I hereby confirm that I have the unrestricted right to work in the United Kingdom.

MCR Pathways operates targeted interview schemes for applicants who have a disability or are care-experienced (defined as having spent time in foster, residential or kinship care).

Please note: Identifying under these schemes does not automatically guarantee an interview. To be invited to an interview, you must meet the following conditions:

Evidence All Essential Criteria: Your application must clearly demonstrate that you meet all essential criteria listed in the Person Specification.

Competitive Shortlisting: If a high volume of qualified candidates apply, the highest-scoring applicants will be invited to interview.

Targeted Interview Scheme (optional)

Optional. Used only for the Targeted Interview Scheme. Not scored and not shared with AI tools.

Privacy information

MCR Pathways is the controller of the information you give us. Contact privacy@mcrpathways.org with any privacy question.
We use your information to consider your application, which you have asked us to do (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). We check applications for AI writing and use AI to suggest evidence because we have a legitimate interest in a fair, consistent and efficient process (Article 6(1)(f)). We use Targeted Interview Scheme answers and reasonable adjustment details to meet our obligations as an employer (Article 9(2)(b) and the Data Protection Act 2018, Schedule 1, paragraph 1).
Fields marked as required are needed to consider your application; we can't process it without them. The Targeted Interview Scheme answers are optional.
Your application is stored in MCR Pathways' recruitment system, which is hosted in the UK.
An AI-writing detector (Pangram) checks your role application. A very high score can mean your application does not go forward to shortlisting. You can ask for a person to review that decision, and give us your views, by emailing privacy@mcrpathways.org.
An AI tool (Google Gemini) may suggest evidence from your CV and role application against the job criteria. A person decides how your application is scored.
The optional Targeted Interview Scheme answers are used only for that scheme. They are not scored and are not sent to AI tools.
If you ask for reasonable adjustments, only our recruitment administrators can see the details. We use them only to arrange your interview, and they are deleted with your application.
We ask for details of your referees. We contact them only if we are going to make you a conditional offer of employment. Please let them know you have given us their details.
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam.
Pangram, Google and Cloudflare are US companies, so your information may be processed outside the UK. Email privacy@mcrpathways.org to ask about the safeguards we use.
Your application is deleted 180 days after the closing date. We keep it longer only if a legal or safeguarding hold applies.
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, and object to how we use it, by emailing privacy@mcrpathways.org. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Our general MCR Pathways Privacy Policy covers our other work.

If the security check doesn't load, email your application to recruitment@mcrpathways.org.
